Job Description:
A company is looking for a Surgery Scheduler in Urology.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule surgeries and manage the surgery calendar
Obtain prior authorizations and complete necessary paperwork for
surgeries
Assist in training new employees and support other scheduling areas
as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in a surgical office setting or
medical scheduling
Basic knowledge of insurance carriers and pre-certification
Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English
