skilled and forward-thinking Demand Planning System & Analytics
Lead (in our San Jose or Penang site) to elevate our demand
forecasting capabilities. This role is central to shaping and
advancing our system infrastructure and analytics capabilities that
power our manufacturing demand planning (MDP) decisions. The ideal
candidate combines expertise in demand planning systems with a
strong background in system architecture, IT infrastructure, and
data analytics. Experience with machine learning and AI is a strong
plus.Key Responsibilities:System Architecture & Ownership
- Lead the end-to-end ownership of the demand planning technology
stack, including Blue Yonder.
- Identify and resolve system gaps and failures. Architect
solutions that reduce offline workarounds and elevate forecasting
reliability.
- Define system governance standards and collaborate with IT and
business partners to ensure stability and scalability.Analytics &
Forecasting Innovation
- Build and deploy advanced models using statistical, predictive,
and machine learning techniques.
- Move beyond traditional time-series methods to incorporate
drivers like pricing, design wins, macroeconomic indicators, and
market intelligence into forecast models.
- Establish scenario planning and simulation capabilities that
empower demand planners with "what-if" foresight.Data
Infrastructure & Automation
- Design and maintain the backend infrastructure supporting
demand, revenue, and market data.
- Automate workflows that today require offline effort -
including scenario forecast generation.Cross-Functional
Partnership
- Work closely with Demand Planners, Supply Chain, Finance, and
Sales to translate business needs into analytics-enabled
solutions.
- Enhance collaboration between MDP and Global Supply Chain (GSC)
by streamlining demand-supply data flows and response
mechanisms.
- Support the design of our future-state demand planning process
as we prepare for Phase 3 rollout in 2026.Capability Development &
Strategic Vision
- Champion a data-driven culture within the MDP
organization.
- Continuously evaluate external market tools, methods, and
technologies that can advance our internal capabilities.
- Stay current on industry trends in AI, ML, cognitive
forecasting, and digital supply chains - and assess their
applicability to our roadmap.Impact in This Role:
- Deliver forecast accuracy improvement
- Reduce system outages and offline processes
- Improve planning efficiency by enabling more autonomous,
AI-assisted forecasting

Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number
of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills,

performance.$127.4k - $184.4k USDQualifications:What We Want to
SeeBachelor's degree, or master's degree, in Information Systems,
Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a
related field5+ years of experience inclusive of:
- Demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics
roles
- Proven experience supporting and maintaining planning system
infrastructure (e.g., Blue Yonder or similar platforms)
- Hands-on involvement in system design, integration, and
troubleshooting - with a strong orientation toward stability,
automation, and scalability
- Proficiency in SQL and a scripting language (e.g. Python)
- Skilled in BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to bridge
business users and IT stakeholders
- Strong analytical thinking and a track record of solving
complex problems through systems and data
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced,
evolving environment.Ways to Stand Out From the Crowd:
- Familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, XGBoost,
TensorFlow) is a plus
- Experience working in semiconductor or high-complexity
manufacturing environments
- Background in driving large-scale planning transformations
- Certifications in supply chain, demand planning, or analytics
