A company is looking for a Fact Checker for its Opinion
Group.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough research to verify facts in submitted opinion
articles
Develop and maintain fact-checking standards and protocols
Collaborate with opinion writers and editors to address
discrepancies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in journalism or related field, or
equivalent experience
Proven experience in fact-checking, research, or investigative
journalism
Strong research and investigative abilities
Proficiency in using fact-checking tools and databases
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
