Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr. Coverage Counsel to provide legal
counsel focused on insurance coverage issues.
Key Responsibilities
Research and provide legal advice on coverage issues related to
insurance contracts
Prepare coverage opinions and develop resolution strategies for
complex claims
Manage selective coverage litigation and collaborate with
underwriting to enhance insurance products
Required Qualifications
Significant experience preparing coverage opinions on property
casualty insurance policies
Experience in litigating insurance coverage and related bad faith
disputes is a plus
JD degree or equivalent, with admission to practice in at least one
US jurisdiction
Preferably 6 or more years of legal practice experience focused on
property & casualty insurance
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and
Outlook
