Job Description:
A company is looking for a Federal Affairs Director to lead its
federal government relations efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Craft and execute federal strategy to promote AI-driven wildfire
detection technology and secure government funding
Build and maintain relationships with Congress members and federal
agencies to support organizational priorities
Oversee a team of lobbyists and consultants, manage coalitions, and
analyze wildfire policy trends to influence decision-makers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7-10+ years of experience in federal government affairs or public
policy, focusing on public safety and environmental policy
Proven success in legislative advocacy and coalition building at
the federal level
Strong network within Congress and federal agencies
Commitment to leveraging technology to address climate-related
challenges
